1. Account and eligibility
You must provide accurate registration information and keep your login credentials secure. BeeBack supports customer accounts and merchant accounts; you may only use features appropriate to your account type. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
2. The BeeBack platform
BeeBack may provide digital loyalty cards, points and stamps, rewards, NFC/QR touchpoints, merchant dashboards, ordering and menu features, payment integrations, customer engagement tools, analytics, campaigns, notifications, physical BeeBack products or hardware, and third-party integrations. Features available to you depend on your plan, merchant configuration, and rollout status.
3. Loyalty points and rewards
Rewards are generally offered by participating merchants. Points, stamps, and reward rules may vary by merchant. BeeBack typically provides infrastructure; merchants usually supply the underlying goods or services. Merchant rules, expiry, inventory, and availability may apply. BeeBack or merchants may correct errors, reverse fraudulent or duplicate awards, and adjust balances for abuse. Points generally have no cash value unless expressly stated otherwise.
4. Merchant responsibilities
Merchants are responsible for lawful offers, reward fulfilment, accurate menu/product/pricing information, store information, staff access, customer communications they initiate, compliance with consumer/privacy/marketing laws, and permissions for content, logos, and media they upload.
5. Payments and orders
Where ordering or payments are enabled, third-party processors (such as Square) may process payments. BeeBack does not claim to store full payment card numbers. Merchant refund, cancellation, and fulfilment policies may apply. Pricing, availability, and order fulfilment remain merchant responsibilities where applicable.
6. POS and third-party integrations
Square and other integrations are third-party services. Availability can depend on third-party APIs. BeeBack is not responsible for third-party outages or control. Users and merchants may need separate third-party accounts and must comply with those providers’ terms.
7. NFC, QR, and physical products
BeeBack may supply or support NFC tags, plaques, stands, and related hardware. Physical wear and damage may affect performance. Device compatibility varies. Merchants configure destinations and are responsible for lawful placement and use. BeeBack may remotely update destination or configuration where the product is designed to do so.
8. Custom links, social, media, and touchpoints
Merchants may configure links and content. BeeBack does not endorse external destinations. Social platforms are third-party services. BeeBack cannot guarantee that follows, reviews, or other off-platform actions occur unless specifically verified by BeeBack.
9. Content and intellectual property
BeeBack owns the platform software and BeeBack branding. Merchants retain ownership of content they upload and grant BeeBack a limited licence to host, display, and process that content as needed to operate the service. Unauthorised copying, reverse engineering, or abuse of the platform is prohibited.
10. Acceptable use
You must not use BeeBack for unlawful purposes, fraud, abuse of loyalty or rewards, automated exploitation, malicious code, impersonation, misleading content, privacy violations, or unauthorised access.
11. Service availability
BeeBack may perform maintenance, experience outages, change features, or offer beta functionality. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
12. Suspension and termination
BeeBack may suspend or terminate accounts for abuse, security, payment, or legal reasons, and may preserve data where required by law. Users may request account closure subject to applicable retention requirements.
13. Fees and subscriptions
BeeBack may offer free and paid plans. Pricing, billing cycles, trials, hardware purchases, upgrades, downgrades, and taxes are described in your plan or order materials—not hardcoded in these Terms. Refunds or guarantees apply only where expressly offered.
14. Analytics and results
Analytics, comparisons, uplift estimates, and insights are informational. Results vary. Estimates are not guarantees of revenue, profit, or retention. Merchants should not treat analytics as financial, legal, or accounting advice.
15. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, including the Australian Consumer Law, BeeBack provides the service on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
16. Indemnity
Where legally appropriate, merchants and users agree to indemnify BeeBack against claims arising from unlawful misuse of the service or content they upload.
17. Governing law
These Terms are intended to be governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, subject to mandatory consumer protections. Jurisdiction details are configurable pending legal review.
18. Changes to terms
We may update these Terms. Material updates that require re-consent will be surfaced in-product. Continued use after required re-consent means you accept the updated Terms.

1. Information you provide
We may collect name, email, phone, account details, merchant/business details, store/location information, profile/logo/content uploads, feedback, and customer communications you send us.
2. Loyalty activity
We process points/stamps, rewards earned or redeemed, loyalty enrolment, visit/tap history, merchant/store association, and related engagement actions needed to operate loyalty programmes.
3. Touchpoint data
NFC/QR interactions may include timestamp, touchpoint/asset ID, store/location context, destination/action type, interaction/session information, and anonymous or unique device signals where used for security or analytics.
4. Transaction and POS data
Where integrations such as Square are enabled, we may process transaction identifiers, purchase amounts, merchant/store/location, customer/payment identity mappings where lawfully available, order/payment status, and product/order information. Payment card processing is handled by third-party providers; BeeBack does not claim to store full card numbers.
5. Analytics and inferences
We may derive retention, engagement, segmentation, return frequency, loyalty uplift estimates, campaign effectiveness, merchant analytics, and other metrics to operate and improve BeeBack.
6. Device and technical data
We may process IP address, browser/device information, cookies/session identifiers, logs, and security events.
7. Location
We store merchant/store location information merchants provide. Approximate location may be inferred in limited cases. BeeBack does not claim to collect precise customer GPS location unless that feature is explicitly enabled and permitted.
8. Cookies, session, and local storage
We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, preferences, anonymous demo sessions, analytics, and client-side state (including PWA/install-related storage where used).
9. Why we use data
We use personal information to provide BeeBack, maintain loyalty balances, process interactions, identify returning customers where enabled, provide merchant analytics, operate payments/order integrations, prevent fraud, improve the product, secure the service, provide support, and comply with law.
10. Sharing
We may share information with participating merchants (for their programmes), infrastructure/cloud providers, payment/POS providers such as Square, email/SMS/push providers, analytics/security vendors, and as required for legal or regulatory disclosures. We do not sell personal information for unrelated advertising.
11. Merchant and customer relationship
Merchants may receive customer and loyalty information associated with their programme, subject to permissions and applicable law. Merchants are independent controllers/processors for some customer relationships—counsel should confirm the precise roles.
12. Retention
We retain data as needed for service operation, legal/accounting requirements, security, dispute handling, and legitimate business needs.
13. Your rights
Subject to applicable privacy law, you may request access, correction, deletion where applicable, account closure, and marketing preference updates. Contact us using the details below.
14. Marketing communications
We and/or merchants may send email, SMS, or push messages where permitted. You can unsubscribe from marketing as offered in-product or via message controls. Merchant-generated campaigns are distinct from BeeBack platform communications.
15. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
16. International processing
Cloud and third-party systems used by BeeBack (for example hosting providers) may process data in Australia and/or other regions.
17. Children’s privacy
BeeBack is not directed at children under 16. If you believe we have collected information from a child under that age, contact us so we can take appropriate steps.
18. Changes and contact
We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes that require re-consent will be surfaced in-product. Contact: hello@beeback.app.
